Can I open an account?
One is welcome to apply to open an account. Please contact one of our sales representatives who will gladly assist you. Once we have all the FICA documents in place and all the necessary credit checks have been satisfactory completed, an account may be opened. Terms and Conditions apply and are granted at management’s discretion.

What are your terms if I have an account?
We offer a 30 day credit facility.

What is your out of stock policy?
Our stocks are constantly being replenished, but occasionally shortages do occur due to our manufacturers being out of stock. Once your order is placed, our efficient telemarketers will call back once the order is picked and inform the client of any out of stocks and offer a substitute. Alternatively, you may elect to have outstanding orders kept on file and fulfilled once stock arrives.

How often do prices change?
Our prices are market related and change accordingly with supplier increases. We endeavor to offer the most competitive prices possible and because of our position within the industry, are usually able to offer great deals. We are willing to negotiate fixed price periods provided you meet certain requirements.

Is Caterplus Botswana BEE compliant?
Yes, Caterplus Botswana is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bidvest Group Ltd, we have an AAA rated scorecard making us a fully fledged BEE company.

What is your food safety policy?
We endeavor to meet HACCP standards and we have a number of processes in place to ensure that the cold chain is maintained from the food from suppliers right up until we deliver it to the customer. Our warehouse is equipped with an airlock chamber in the receiving area and we have backup generators that kick in as soon as there is a power failure, enabling us to constantly maintain optimal temperatures.

What is your purchasing policy?
We endeavor to maintain a close relationship with our suppliers in order to guarantee high standards and the continuity of supply. We assure the quality and high standards maintained by our suppliers who meet HACCP standards of food safety.
